Safety | Hot Air Balloon Ride Safety.
When traveling, you should not have to worry about whether your recreational activities are safe or not. Fortunately, hot air ballooning is one of the safest forms of transportation known to man. Captain Ye Haw has thousands of hot air balloon flight hours logged for the hot air balloon flying experience, as well as a Federal Aviation Administration Certified Pilot’s License.
Our hot air balloons are of the highest quality and the balloons are inspected regularly by a Federal Aviation Administration approved third-party balloon inspection company to make sure they stay in perfect working order, and there is no conflict of interest.
But you might be surprised to learn how safe you are up there. In fact, hot air balloon rides are safer than walking down the street or riding in a car. You will take more of a risk to your overall welfare driving to our hot air balloon meeting site for your hot air balloon ride with us, then the actual flight itself.
In the past 16 years, there are several thousands of many flight hours logged in hot air ballooning all over the world. There have been six commercial hot air balloon accidents. They always consist of pilot error. Captain Ye Haw prides himself in making sound, quality flight decisions.
In fact, we have a running motto, we would rather send you bummed than bruised. We refuse to take chances with people’s safety just earn a little of your hard-earned money. To us it’s just not worth it to us.
If you are planning a balloon wedding, or balloon proposal we welcome you to come out. Just make sure you have a plan B. Remember hot air balloons are on Mother Nature’s time table. On poor weather days, your hot air balloons flight will be rescheduled for your convenience.
Not only is ballooning safe, hot air balloons are environmentally clean, propane powered aircraft’s.
